BIGGBY COFFEE OPENING SECOND LOCATION IN HOLLAND, MI

Local family operates both -second location located on Douglas Ave. on Tuesday, Oct. 7

EAST LANSING, MI, Sept. 29, 2014 – The BIGGBY COFFEE 2014 Store of the Year winner is ready to open his second BIGGBY in Holland on Tuesday, October 7th. Holland will now have not one, but two BIGGBY COFFEE locations! Ready to serve area-BIGGBY fanatics and coffee lovers alike, the second location will open at 65 Douglas Ave.

“My family and I were thrilled to have brought BIGGBY back to Holland 2 years ago. Now to have both locations open and running is a dream come true,” Mark Dykema, store operator, said. “BIGGBY is all about a one-of-a-kind customer experience and being able to make someone’s day better with a delicious drink in a relaxed and laid back setting.”

Originally from Holland, Mark and his parents, Michael and Mary, will all be involved with the stores, helping to keep the family-run business atmosphere alive at their locations.

“This being my home town, I obviously care a lot about the area and being a part of its growth,” Mark said. “Our stores will be an extension of the community and I’m looking forward to the opportunities we will have to get involved with different local organizations and charities.”

Dykema is known for his contagious energy, excitement and enthusiasm behind the counter. He has fun with off the wall ideas to gain attention of customers by doing things like skits on the side of the road and wacky costumes to make people laugh.

“BIGGBY wants people to B happy and have fun, so we give them both, both inside and out of the store,” Dykema said. “I’m hoping that customers will love the new store so much that we will take home BIGGBY COFFEE 2015 store of the year for the new location!”
