Husband, Wife Open BIGGBY COFFEE in their Hometown

Davison, Mich., June 30, 2008 – Lansing Mich.-based coffee retailer, BIGGBY COFFEE, will celebrate the opening of a new location in Davison on Tuesday, July 8.  The store, located at 1133 S. State Street, will open thanks to the efforts of husband and wife team John and Tracy Fraizer.

 

“I have a background in the automotive manufacturing industry and recently realized that I needed to transition my efforts into a business that is growing in Michigan,” said owner John Fraizer. “My wife and I were born and raised in Davison and I have a degree in food systems management, so I’m happy that I found BIGGBY COFFEE and am proud to bring it to my hometown.”

 

The new location will open for business at 6 a.m. on July 8 and offer free brewed coffee through Sunday to celebrate the occasion. The store is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

 

The Davison location will be the 99th location for the East Lansing-based coffee retailer.  BIGGBY COFFEE currently operates 98 stores in nine states.  It has an additional 71 stores under development that will open in the next 24 months across the U.S.

 

The new store will bring nearly 20 new full and part-time jobs to the area.
